Sydney Opera House
Sydney Opera House was faced with the challenge of transforming a website that was hard to navigate and transact on to a site that not only showcased performances in an engaging way, but was easy and accessible to use.
Following extensive research into Sydney Opera House's customer requirements, we embarked upon an ambitious user experience design. As lead user experience designer, my role involved designing a new information architecture and designing wireframe templates for the new site. Working with the branding agency Frost, and a team of designers and developers the new designs were extensively tested with users including vision-impaired users. As a government website, we had to adhere to strict accessibility guidelines. The resulting site is not only visually exciting and appealing but meets AAA accessibility guidelines, ensuring a great user experience for all Sydney Opera House customers.
